Friends, readers, laymen…lend me your eyeballs. As we approach 2017 let’s look at some awesome cool books coming out shall we? From the gloriously expected from authors we know will please us to newcomers, 2017 has some whoopers of titles being released.

Why? Well its Jennifer Armentrout, so I’m usually willing to give her books a look. While I haven’t had much luck with her young adult contemporaries, I’m wondering if maybe I’ll have better luck with her first foray into the adult world.

Why? Book 3 Wildfire is due out in July, which is besides the point, but I will read anything Andrews puts out and I did enjoy the first book, Burn For Me. I’ve been waiting a little while for these books to finish, so I’m excited that the books are finally being released.
Stieg Engstrom, Angriest Viking Ever, has got big problems. The human Viking Clans of earth are in danger of being obliterated along with the rest of the world and the only one who may be able to save them is a super pain-in-the-ass Crow. Most people annoy Stieg, but this is the one woman he really can’t stand.
Erin Amsel loves being a Crow! Why wouldn’t she when the other Viking Clans are so hilariously arrogant and humorless? She’s not about to let all that come to an end! She just didn’t expect to be shoulder to shoulder in battle with Stieg. Then again, he’s so easy to torment and also kind of cute.
With the future of the world riding on them, Stieg knows he’ll have to put aside his desperate need to kiss the smirk right off Erin’s face. Wait. What? He didn’t mean that did he? No!They have one goal: To conquer the idiots. Because nothing bugs Stieg more than when idiots win. If only he can keep himself from suddenly acting like one.
Why? While Erin is perhaps not my favorite of the Crows, I love and adore these books. They’re just…insane. The Viking Clans know how to party hard, fight hard and enjoy their new lives even harder. This is one of the few series where the fact they throw a huge party in the middle of a world-ending crisis makes complete sense to me.

Why? Alyssa Cole is awesome? The cover is gorgeous? The story is about spies? There are Pinkertons involved? Admittedly I don’t tend to read this genre of historical romance, but something caught me about this book and I can’t let it go.
